The outdoor pool season can begin

Die Frei- und Unfreibäder in den einzelnen Bundesländern gehen eigene Wege

What no one would have wanted to think about three months ago and what no one would have dared to think about three weeks ago, selected operators now dare to reopen the swimming pools that have been modernised for six months. Of course, with the newly learned 'rules' offered, selected visitors who have previously undergone facial checks, health and vaccination certificate checks, as well as urine and stool samples given two weeks before (for later identification) are allowed to check in after a three-hour quarantine in the car park in their own car or with a mask in a discarded bus to avoid queues.
The operation, once the visitor has made it, is quite normal; depending on the state, of course. But travelling to another state to go to the pool is generally not accepted in the regulations. Only the 150-page user manual restricts the rights of illiterate people and children not of school age, but they are supposed to stay at home anyway and watch the deserted playground from the window. The billion-dollar aids do not include a reader or educator who could explain anything.
In addition to the commonly known new reality, 97% of the operators insist on not removing the mouth-nose covering during swimming. Violators are punished with a pool ban and a fine. In case of repetition, prison sentences of not less than 5 years are threatened.

Our Opinion

Who doesn't remember last summer when you had to be afraid to go into the forest because there were oak processionary moths litigating across all the paths in such a way that it resembled barricades that were insurmountable without technical aids and you were not allowed to touch a deciduous tree under any circumstances because afterwards you would in any case touch your face and immediately get the fine hairs of the caterpillars in the mucous membranes of your mouth, nose and eyes.
Hmm, funny, somehow reminds me of something that made its way into our lives in March. Why wasn't the country sealed off then? Oh, yes, it was more about the danger to children.

Isn't water made of droplets?

Mit der richtigen Maske ist alles kein Problem

Of course, this does not detract from the fun of splashing around, swimming and sunbathing. After two months of compulsory hooding and a mood high in every supermarket, anyone who buys a ticket online with a barely 300% price increase and provides all personal data at the time of booking (for later identification) is prepared for all surprises.
Of course, no one has to think about what was said before, that air is physically a liquid and the spread of a new kind of dangerous virus happens via droplet infection of aerosols, and water is, after all, an incredibly massive collection of droplets.

After all, swimming pool water is completely harmless

Instead of drinking disinfectant or vinegar essence, accidental swallowing of municipal pool water is virtually a fountain of health for our recovery-begging innards. Of all the deaths worldwide due to contaminated water, only a tiny percentage can be traced back to visits to bathing establishments.
